'Gertrude Stein and A Companion' opens Outcast Productions' season in Langley

OutCast Productions presents its opening show of the 2012 season, “Gertrude Stein and a Companion,” starting Jan. 13 in the Fine Arts Building at the Island County Fairgrounds in Langley.
It has been called a witty, moving and intellectually stimulating play about the complex lines of affection and affiliation in the relationship between Gertrude Stein and Alice B. Toklas during their life together in Paris.
The award-winning play, with actors Martha Murphy and Patricia Duff, will run for six performances only at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 13, 14, 19, 20 and 21. A matinee is 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 15.
