Museo opening reception rescheduled

January 19, 2012 · Updated 2:07 PM

Due to the record breaking snowstorm in the Northwest, the opening for the Steampunk exhibit is postponed.  It will now take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28.

The gallery will be transformed into a magical Steampunk world.  Work from exhibiting artists will include a nine foot high rocket ship, a Steampunk bicycle, a Steampunk wedding dress and over 100 pieces of art honoring the genre. The opening will feature performance art and many attendees will be in costume. This is an event not to be missed.
