Find ‘Inspiration’ at WICA

December 1, 2012 · Updated 8:19 AM

The Fine Art Exhibit is located in the Whidbey Island Center for the Arts lobby, located at 565 Camano Ave. in Langley.

Each exhibit has a theme that is deliberately brief to allow for the broadest latitude in artistic interpretation.

The next exhibit in the series is named “Winter Inspiration,” which opened Nov. 30 and ends Dec. 15. Organizers hope this will add to the enjoyment of WICA’s Theatre Series play, “Scrooge! The Musical,” which continues Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m.

Artists in the exhibit include Judith Burns, Denis Hill, Richard Engstrom, Jim “Shu” Carroll, Barbara Kelly, Steve Marts, Barbara Mearing, Ginny O’Neill, Susan Owen, Karen Schroeder and John Ursillo.

The WICA Fine Art Exhibits are coordinated and facilitated by committee members, Judith Burns, Diane Divelbess, Mary Ann Mansfield and Barbara Mearing. Additional information about the art, artists or pricing is available in the WICA Box Office.

The exhibit in the WICA lobby will be open during business hours daily, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call WICA for more information at 221-8268.

The art exhibit and opening reception is free and open to the public.
