Organizers at Whidbey Island Dance Theater said they are tremendously grateful to the many alumni performers, like Katelyn Lodell, and guest artists like Bojohn Diciple.
A special event Sunday featured some of past cast members who returned to celebrate 20 years of “The Nutcrackers” on South Whidbey.
According to a WIDT release, the first week of performances “were wildly successful, everyone raved!”
Seating is reportedly going fast, so if you want to see this year’s show act now. Tickets are on sale at the new WIDT Box Office located upstairs in the Island Dance building (old High School) on the Langley Middle School Campus.
Box Office hours are Monday through Friday, 3 to 6 p.m., and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tickets may also be purchased by calling 341-2221, online at www.widtonline.org and at Whidbey Coffee kiosks in Clinton and Freeland.
Advance sale tickets are $22 for adults, $20 for seniors age 65 and over, and $15 for youth age 17 and under. At the door, all seats are $22.
Visa, Mastercard and Discover are accepted.
Special advance sale discounts include uniformed services: $2 off each ticket; and group discounts (for 10 or more), $2 off each ticket
The production’s final run is the third weekend in December.
Evening performances are scheduled at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Dec 14 and 15; and matinee performances at 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 15 and 16.
All performances are presented at the South Whidbey High School Performing Arts Center, 5675 South Maxwelton Road, just off Highway 525 in Langley.
