Whidbey Chamber Singers presents a concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, in the Sanctuary at Langley United Methodist Church, featuring Whidbey Island’s accomplished vocal and instrumental artists performing their favorite music.

Performing are Victoria Chausee, mezzo soprano; Noel Curtis, lyric soprano; Gloria Ferry-Brennan, violinist; Kate Matteson, musical theater performer; Karl Olsen, lyric baritone; Rob Prosch, dramatic baritone; Dianne Vars, pianist; and Sheila Weidendorf, pianist.

The artists are donating their talents and all proceeds from the concert to the benefit of Whidbey Chamber Singers, the island’s new choral performance ensemble.

“This concert promises to be a one-of-a-kind musical event on our island, bringing together some of Whidbey’s most accomplished vocal and instrumental musicians for an evening to celebrate Whidbey’s vibrant music community,” said Al Benson, Whidbey Chamber Singers spokesman.

Tickets at the door cost $15 for adults, $10 for senior/military and $5 for children, or buy them at brownpapertickets.com.
