Whidbey orchestra seeks new members

The Whidbey Island Community Orchestra wants new members.

It is a full orchestra including strings, winds, brass and percussion.

A new conductor will lead the musicians this year and the orchestra hopes to welcome new members in all sections with special attention to the woodwinds, brass and low strings.

There are no auditions and the orchestra includes a range of ages and abilities.

Rehearsals are Thursday evenings from September through May. Performances include a fall, winter and spring concert.
