The "Auditioning and Prepared Reading" workshop for adults still has slots available.

The workshop is from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 28 and Sunday, June 29 at Whidbey Island Center for the Arts.
Students will work with professional actress and casting director Kate Godman as they learn how to make the best possible impression in a wide variety of audition situations.

Kate Godman worked at London's Royal Court Theatre and was co-artistic director of the Dondie Rockett Theatre Company. She earned her master's degree in theatre studies at the University of Kansas.

In 1998, Godman joined Intiman Theatre, where she serves as Associate Director: Casting and Artistic Relations.
This course will cover classical and contemporary monologues, cold and prepared readings, interviews, preparation and audition-specific acting technique. Emphasis will be on auditions for the stage.

The workshop is a great way to prepare for WICA’s 2008/2009 season general auditions in August.

The fee is $60 for the two-day workshop.

For information and to register, visit www.WICAonline or call 221-8268.
