In an effort to say thank you to the supporters of Operation Sack Lunch, singer Beverly Graham will give a concert from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26 at the Nordstrom Recital Hall in Benaroya Hall in Seattle.

The show will be “unplugged and personal” and feature stories and music by the popular island musician.

Graham will be releasing her new CD, “Open to the Inside,” and launching the sale of her book, “The Birth of Sound,” dedicated to island philanthropist Nancy Nordhoff.

Graham will honor Nordhoff during the performance as someone “whose vision and empowerment has enabled myriad unvoiced words to be born into the light.”

Information will be available at the recital hall about the Operation Sack Lunch program, which has served more than 1.75 million meals to homeless people and those in need in Washington state for the past 19 years.

The recital hall is at 200 University St., Seattle. Tickets cost $10. Call 866-277-9252 or call Ticketmaster for tickets and info.
