Maurlee’s hosts poetry slam this week in Langley

Come one, come all and share in the free fun of the next Whidbey Island Arts Council Poetry Slam at 7 p.m. tonight at Maurlee’s Take-Out and Catering, 317 Second St. in Langley.

Join other poetically-minded friends and family who will write and share poems using their own words along with a few suggested by the audience.

All ages are welcome. And all who participate will receive prizes from Conductor of Fun Jim Freeman’s “Shed of Shared Stuff.”
