Maurlee’s hosts poetry slam this week in Langley

Come one, come all and share in the free fun of the next Whidbey Island Arts Council Poetry Slam at 7 p.m. tonight at Maurlee’s Take-Out and Catering, 317 Second St. in Langley.

Join other poetically-minded friends and family who will write and share poems using their own words along with a few suggested by the audience.

All ages are welcome. And all who participate will receive prizes from Conductor of Fun Jim Freeman’s “Shed of Shared Stuff.”

For further info, contact Freeman at 331-2617 or Maureen at Maurlee’s at 221-1131.
