Organizers of this year's “Art Celebrating the Cancer Journey” have issued a last call for artists to submit artwork for the show.
The deadline for submissions is Friday, March 5.
This year's 13th Annual Cancer Art Show will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 6 at the Pacific Northwest Art School in Coupeville.
Cancer survivors, support persons and those working professionally with cancer patients are invited to share the art they have produced which demonstrates or suggests the life-changing impact cancer has had on them.
The show is organized by the Cancer Care Committee of Whidbey General Hospital and is supported with the help of the community. The exhibit is made possible through the collaboration of the Pacific Northwest Art School staff and monetary support from the Whidbey General Hospital Foundation.
Submissions should be delivered to the Pacific Northwest Art School (formerly the Coupeville Art Center) at 15 NW Birch St.
For a submission application, call 321-5173 or 360-678-7624, or go online to www.whidbeygen.org to download an application.
