Saratoga Chamber Orchestra to hold auditions

Professional-level island musicians are encouraged fill out an online audition form for the Saratoga Chamber Orchestra’s general auditions.
Auditions will be held Saturday, Aug. 28 at South Whidbey High School in Langley.
The orchestra has openings for the following permanent positions: second clarinet, second bassoon, violin I and II, viola and cello.
Candidates may also audition for substitute and extra positions in all sections of the orchestra.

Audition forms are due no later than Aug. 6, and only highly qualified applicants will receive an audition appointment.

The Saratoga Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Legh W. Burns, is a professional orchestra founded in 2007. It is comprised of musicians from across Whidbey Island and currently presents four to five concert programs each season.
