Great job on a snowy day, South Whidbey Record


This is just to say thank you for going way beyond the call of newspaper duty to deliver our Record this morning, Friday.

I had called earlier to say that we had not been receiving the Wednesday paper, though the Saturday paper was delivered as usual. I understand that these things happen. But, I was totally surprised on this cold, snowy morning to have the paper hand delivered by one of your very cheerful staff. This was certainly not necessary, but much appreciated.

We didn’t know how much we missed The Record until there wasn’t one in our box. It’s one of the ways we keep up on what is happening in our community and the good work of so many people and organizations. The Record has won many awards — but most certainly deserves a special one for your extraordinary service!
