LAND grateful for the Democratic process

Editor,

We the members of LAND — Langley Association of Neighbors Downtown — want to express our gratitude for the Planning Advisory Board Meeting on Jan. 3, chaired by Thomas Gill.

He and the PAB facilitated a democratic process that allowed for a true model of resident engagement with Langley city planning.

LAND is committed to civility, to smart growth and to the preservation of the community that all of us came here to be part of. We look forward to ongoing engagement with the PAB, the council, the mayor and our fellow residents and business owners. We’re all in this together.
