LETTER TO THE EDITOR | Donald Trump embodies what?

Donald Trump embodies what?

Editor,

I wish my tolerance level prevented writing a response to Michael Barbour’s letter, “Trump Embodies Christian Values.” Unfortunately it does not.

Sooooo, Mr. Barbour, sir, there are several potential explanations for your assignment of enviable “values” to Mr. Trump. The first may be you don’t watch TV or listen to the radio. The second may be that you do not own a copy of a very informative published works called the Bible. The third is perhaps you are an atheist or agnostic (no problem, if that’s the case). The fourth possible issue is you do not attend one of the many forms of worship in a church of your choice. They are the buildings with empty parking lots during the week and typically a cross affixed to the apex of the roof. If narcissm, bigotry, sexism, prejudice, discrimination, xenophobia, infidelity, divorce (3), mean-spiritedness, arrogance, threatening and degrading comments about almost anything including defiling women without their consent, consistent use of swear words and taking the Lord’s name in vain, then in the name of God, you are correct.

What a role model for all of us to emulate and hold out to our young people to admire.
