To the editor:

I ran the Beat the Bridge race with my family. I was so impressed that all of those people ran or walked or even rolled (in wheelchairs) to help raise money to try to find a cure for diabetes.

I’ve had diabetes since I was 4 and I know how hard it is. And I want to thank all those people that did that race looking out for people like me.
