Whidbey Island Nourishes, or WIN, is celebrating the generosity of local businesses this past Thanksgiving season. Contributions received this fall from Whidbey Telecom, Dancing Fish Winery, Puget Sound Energy and Spoiled Dog Winery support WIN’s mission of providing no-cost, ready-to-eat, nutritious food to the children on South Whidbey.

Now in its 11th year, and housed at the south campus of South Whidbey Elementary, WIN has 90 active volunteers and prepares 3,000 meals each month, a huge increase from a beginning of 200 per month.

Dedication and creativity, hard work and partnerships with Goosefoot, Good Cheer, the school farm, and our local farmers have made it all possible.

WIN is truly grateful for the generosity of this community.
