Readers need one paper for all of Whidbey

The time has come for the Whidbey News Times to be the leader in informing all of Whidbey Island of what is happening on our island. That means, to me, one newspaper that is inclusive of what is happening and newsworthy from Clinton to Oak Harbor.

To continue publishing two newspapers, one that is heavily weighed towards news in Oak Harbor and one towards Langley aids in the separation of north and south with little attention to the middle. Significant things are happening in Island County and on Whidbey that we all are interested in and we should not have to read two newspapers to stay informed. Considering uniting the two remaining newspapers; it would be a benefit for all Whidbey islanders.
