Time for Oak Harbor to build own broadband

Editor,

With the death of net neutrality, is it time for the city to look at building a municipal broadband?

I think it is. It will become too expensive when the ISPs start bundling packages like cable service.

Gone will be a “free” internet that the government built. I would be happy to pay the city over Comcast for the same free service.

Many cities in the U.S. and the world have municipal broadband, so why not Oak Harbor?
