Why is there no election coverage to ignore?

Editor,

Running to catch the free bus that used go by our house once a week to take me to the gym, pennies and pills falling out of my pocket, I puzzled over the ballot I must mail by Nov 2. Why do we vote for legislators who can’t pass bills without waiting for an advisory they will ignore? One party island, unopposed candidates? No newspaper coverage for me to ignore?
