You can’t have it both ways when it comes to presidential support

Kudo’s to the South Whidbey Record for its editorial re the Guzman-Beusch-Trump ethics board spat. I have experienced similar reactions from other Trump supporters who take issue with being “accused” of actually being one. Beusch says he “…feels responsible as an American to support the President.” Then states he supports the office of the president but not the man himself. No. You can’t have it both ways Mr. Beusch. You support the president. The president is Trump. You support Trump. You gotta live with it. Supporting the “office” but not the man occupying it is a meaningless play on words. Perhaps it’s a concept only Trump supporters can understand.
