Whidbey Island Center for the Arts continues its second season of Kitsch ‘n Bitch with Sue Frause with a tribute to Julia Child. “Bon Appetit, a tribute to Julia Child,” will be held at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3 at Whidbey Island Center for the Arts. Hosted by travel writer and food lover Frause, “Bon Appetit” is the second of five shows in the 2012-2013 season.

The live talk shows feature chefs and food lovers, on-stage cooking demonstrations, house band Deja Blooze, plus a signature cocktail prepared for each show.Get ready for an evening full of fun and surprises, featuring Gordon Stewart of Gordon’s on Blueberry Hill; award-winning cake designer John Auburn; and wine connoisseur Gene Felton of the Star Store, in celebration of Julia Child’s 100th birthday.

Frause is an award winning journalist and photographer. For 15 years, she wrote a column for the South Whidbey Record.
