MATRIMONY | South Whidbey son marries in Langley

Stuart Hambley and Cori Smith were married on Saturday, June 24 at Fireseed in Langley.

The ceremony was officiated by Rev. Mary Boyd.

Hambley, a Whidbey Island native, graduated from South Whidbey High School in 1998. He received a music degree from the University of Washington and is a freelance trombonist in the Pacific Northwest.

Smith is from Richland and graduated from Richland High School. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Montana and University of Idaho, respectively, in music education. She currently teaches band at Keithly Middle School in Tacoma.

Smith is the daughter of Dr. Matt and Linda Smith of Kennewick. Hambley is the son of Kathy Fox of Langley and Walter Hambley of Gold Bar. His stepfather is Larry Fox of Freeland.
