South Whidbey artists donate to school art program

Aspiring South Whidbey artists got a $500 boost this week thanks to the Artists of South Whidbey.

The organization donated the cash to the Island Arts Council, which will use the money to held fund the Artist in Resident Program at South Whidbey schools.

The $500 was generated from Artists of South Whidbey’s card sales. Cards with images donated by the club are available at The Wine Shop at Greenbank Farm and at Casey’s Crafts in Bayview.
