Shayna Grant and Tyler Olson were married on Nov. 5, 2016 at the Villa Vigia in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica.

Olson’s father, Jeff, officiated the ceremony. The bride and groom’s family and friends attended the wedding.

Grant is the daughter of Pam Grant of Coupeville and Kurt and Tere Grant of Qatar. Olson is the son Jeff and Kathie Olson of Hope, Idaho.

Grant, a 2011 graduate of South Whidbey High School, received a bachelor’s degree in sport management from Gonzaga University in 2015. Olson is a professional baseball pitcher for the Cleveland Indians organization. He made his Major League Baseball debut with the Seattle Mariners in 2015.

The couple currently resides in Spokane.
