South Whidbey mentorship program adds new ambassador | KUDOS

Taylor Moore, a tenth-grader at South Whidbey High School, was recently named an ambassador for Keller Williams South Whidbey Mentorship Program.

Moore, the program’s third-ever ambassador, helped create a new rock garden area in front of the “red building on the hill” located next to the Senior Center in Bayview. Taylor is also an active competitive dancer at the Whidbey Island Dance Theatre.

The program, which began this summer, aims to mentor young men and women in the South Whidbey area. The other two ambassadors are South Whidbey High School seniors Cameron Asay and Courtney Dunigan.

Dunigan and Asay participated in a similar activity in August when they painted the Bayview building. Like Dunigan and Asay, Moore earned money for college and personal savings.

More ambassadors will join the program soon. For any questions, call John Joynt, branch manager at Keller Williams South Whidbey, at 360-346-0017.

Joynt said the students will participate in upcoming programs that will boost their leadership attributes and build self-esteem.

The next program is slated for the spring of 2017.
