Hebrew classes starting soon on South Whidbey

The Whidbey Island Jewish Community is accepting registrations for Island Ivrit-Hebrew classes.
The six-week session begins at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 2. Classes will be held at Langley Middle School.
The course is offered free to youth under 18. There is a $54 fee for adults.
The National Jewish Outreach Program’s innovative introductory Hebrew program teaches participants to learn to read Hebrew in six weekly sessions, and is designed for those with little or no background in the language.
The instructor is Rabbi David Fredman, the outreach director for the Seattle Kollel.
