Liberty exists in the Lord’s spirit | RELIGION NOTES

August 3, 2012 · Updated 2:51 PM

As citizens of this country, we pride ourselves on freedom, yet, increasingly, people feel their freedom slipping away due to fear and worry over public safety, the economy, sickness and security in relationships. However, in II Corinthians, we read “… where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” The powerful meaning behind that promise and how it applies to our lives today is the topic of the Christian Science service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 5 at 15910 Highway 525, just north of Bayview and across from Useless Bay Road. Everyone is welcome.
