Tidying the wild garden | RELIGION NOTES

August 31, 2012 · Updated 4:09 PM

Unity of Whidbey, 5671 Crawford Road, at 10 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 2, will hear Doug Benecke speak about “The Wild Garden.”

In the ways we try to cultivate our lives we find some successes, but, always, it seems, some falling short of perfect control, restraint or mastery. We try to grow our gardens, to tidy up the wild; and we miss, at times, the truer order that is the created world we are passing through. Sam Glass will be the platform assistant. All are welcome to attend.
