Over 250 South Whidbey High School students and their guests arrived at the Experience Music Project Saturday evening for prom.

The day started early for some, as hair appointments and time with friends was enjoyed while preparation for the big night.

Dinner fare varied from the ultra-laid back McDonald’s run to the sit-down dinner at the ultra hip and modern Seattle restaurants.

The night was a vision of color as colorful dresses blurred into the vivid image of the Frank O. Gehry designed EMP.

After hours of dancing to DJ spun music, their feet no doubt grew tired, but few will forget the night and a prom to be remembered.
