The annual Sweetheart Big Band Dance, set for Feb. 8 at the high school, is a fundraiser to enable their participation in the Bellevue College Jazz Festival and the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival in February. Their next public concerts on the Island will be March 13 and May 31. The talented group will also perform in the All-Island Jazz Festival March 29.
