The South Whidbey School District has announced the school board meeting scheduled for tonight has been canceled due to the weather.

The board had hoped to pick up the discussion from the last meeting about the failure of the $25 million bond proposal on the November ballot.

Board Chairwoman Leigh Anderson said this afternoon that the district's bond advisors were expected to attend tonight's meeting, but have said they can't come because of the weather.

The school board will now meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24 for a brief business meeting at the District Service Center.
