The Port of Coupeville will host a special public meeting to share information about a proposed project to install an array of solar panels at Greenbank Farm.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2 in the basement meeting room of the Service Alternatives Building, 20 NW First St. in Coupeville (across Main Street from Whidbey General Hospital).

The Port of Coupeville is the owner of the farm and the sponsor of the project. John Hastings of Island Community Solar LLC, the group of investors that will own, install and operate the solar array, will describe the status and design of the project.
