Whidbey Island Conservation District explains cost-share efforts

The Whidbey Island Conservation District will host an informational meeting this week in Coupeville devoted to explaining programs for property owners that enhance agricultural and forest productivity and protect natural resources.

The conservation district meeting will review Natural Resources Conservation Service programs which provide technical assistance and cost-share for starting and using conservation practices.

The meeting is from 2 to 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17 in the meeting room at the Coupeville Library, 788 NW Alexander St.
