The South Whidbey School Board will gather for a retreat tomorrow in the school board meeting room on the South Whidbey Primary School campus.

The meeting starts at 9 a.m. Friday, Jan. 21. The school board will get a presentation from a consultant on the search to find a replacement for District Superintendent Fred McCarthy, who has announced plans to retire at the end of June.

The board will also discuss board standards, and end the retreat with a discussion of the board's priorities for 2011.
