The Langley City Council will discuss an increase in cemetery fees at its next meeting.

The council meets at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 7, at city hall.

The council will consider amending the fees for burial at Langley Woodmen Cemetery to reflect the increased cost of maintenance at the facility.

The city currently charges $600 for a standard burial plot, and officials are expected to increase the fee to $750. The site transfer fee would increase from $10 to $20.
