The Freeland Water and Sewer District will have a private meeting tonight to talk about the local improvement district, or LID, that will be formed to create a new sewer system.

The board will hold a closed-to-the-public executive session to discuss with legal counsel potential litigation on the sewer LID, according to the district.

The meeting is 5:45 p.m. March 30 in the office of Davido Consulting Group, 1796 Main St., Freeland. District officials did not say how long the meeting would last, or provide any additional details on the meeting.
