The South Whidbey School Board will hold a workshop tonight on next year’s budget.

The meeting is 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 20 in the school board room at the South Whidbey Primary School Campus.

Board members will also talk about the administrative structure of the district, including the potential for separate full-time principals at South Whidbey High School and Langley Middle School.

The topic is timely: Rod Merrell, principal of SWHS and LMS, announced last week he would be leaving the district at the end of June to take over as principal of Mount Vernon High School.
