Langley council to hold special workshop

The Langley City Council will hold a workshop with its city attorney on Monday.

The workshop is scheduled to start at 2:30 p.m. The focus will be a discussion concerning the council’s and mayor’s roles and responsibilities. According to city hall, the topics will include public records requests, development of personnel and financial policies and procedures, the council’s relationship with staff, and the role of the administration and the council in code interpretation and enforcement.

The meeting will be held at Langley City Hall, 112 Second St.
