Highland Games return to farm

After a year away from Greenbank Farm, the Highland Games will return this summer to Greenbank Farm, the Whidbey Island Celtic Society has announced.

Last year, a scheduling snafu at Greenbank Farm left the annual celebration of Scottish culture homeless. The event — which features Highland piping, drumming, dancing and traditional Scottish athletics — will be held at Greenbank Farm on Saturday, Aug. 13.

Organizers of the games said volunteers are still needed; contact Jessica Larson at to sign up.
