Commissioners of the Port of South Whidbey will hold a special meeting tonight in Freeland to review design and permit issues for the expansion project at the Langley Marina.

Port commissioners will also review a proposed lease from the port's attorney on the lease of land at Possession Beach Waterfront Park.

The meeting is 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 20 in the port office conference room, located at 1804 Scott Road.

The meeting is open to the public, but public participation is not on the agenda.

Port officials said port commissioners will review project, technical and legal details with staff on the marina makeover project and address scoping, prioritization and direction for the designers and staff.

The next regular meeting of the port board is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, in the meeting room of the South Whidbey Parks & Rec District office at 5475 Maxwelton Road.
