Union contract talks are pushed back on South Whidbey

Negotiations between South Whidbey School District and unions representing teachers, school employees and service employees have been pushed back to August, said Dan Poolman, business manager for the district.

Most faculty and staff are on vacation in July. Union representatives met with district officials briefly before school ended in June to reschedule talks for August.
