Langley hosts candidates forum

A candidates forum for the Langley City Council Primary Election will be held Thursday, July 28 in the Langley United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.

The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m.

The candidates for Position 3 on the council are Robin Adams, Jim Sundberg and Kathleen Waters. Those appearing for Position 4 are R. Bruce Allen, Thomas Gill and Jonathon Moses. The top two in each race will advance to the November election.

Also running, but unchallenged, are Councilman Hal Seligson, running for Position 2, and Larry Kwarsick, the sole candidate for mayor. Organizers said they have also agreed to participate in the forum.
