Winners announced in Island County Fair Parade

The winners have been announced for this year's Island County Fair Parade.

This year's parade featured grand marshal Matt Chambers and his family. Chambers is the senior pastor for the South Whidbey Assembly of God and has been dedicated to helping out with the fair since moving to South Whidbey in September of 1987.

The winners:

Commercial Float: Andrew's Landshapers

Float (tie): Pirates of Wall Street, Island County Fair

Group with vehicle: Bunyon Busters

Organization with vehicle: Trinity Lutheran Church

Horse group: Equestrian Crossings

Marching unit with animals: Happy Hounds

Antique vehicle: Gary Gabelein

Marching unit: Good Cheer

Group organization: Daughters of Norway

Other: South Whidbey Historical Society

Pooper scoopers: 4-H Scoopers
