Trust holds estate to host planning seminar

The Whidbey Camano Land Trust will host an estate planning seminar Wednesday, Sept. 7 at the Unitarian Universalist Hall.

Tom Haensly, a conservation attorney, will talk about wills and other important aspects of estate planning.

The seminar will cover options to create a charitable legacy, including gifts for land protection and land stewardship on Whidbey and Camano islands.

Haensly’s law practice focuses on real estate transactions and estate planning, including land conservation and charitable contributions.

The seminar will run from 4 to 6 p.m.

Sign-in begins at 3:45 p.m. Attendees should RSVP to the land trust at info@wclt.org.

The Unitarian Universalist Hall is at 20103 Highway 525, just north of Freeland.

Incorporated in 1984, the land trust is a local nonprofit that works to protect natural habitats, scenic vistas and working farms and forests.
