AT&T lease is on port’s agenda

Port of South Whidbey officials will review a draft lease with AT&T for a cell phone tower on port property at Possession Beach Waterfront Park at the port board meeting Tuesday, Sept. 13.

Also at next week’s meeting, port commissioners will talk about applications for grant funds.

Port officials will also get a report on Dockstock 2011, and get details on an off-peak day use coupon book for the marina.

Port commissioners will meet for a workshop at 7 p.m. to review vouchers and recent correspondence, and open the business meeting at 7:30 p.m. The port board will meet at the South Whidbey Parks & Recreation District office at 5475 Maxwelton Road.

The discussion of the port’s 2012 preliminary budget has been rescheduled to 9 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27. A public hearing on the preliminary budget has been scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11.
