A serious motor-vehicle accident on Highway 525 at Bush Point Road is slowing traffic as emergency crews are working to clear the road.

Details of the accident, which occurred about 12:30 p.m. Monday, were not immediately available. A passerby reported a pickup truck with a camper was nearly upside down and in the middle of the Bush Point-Highway 525 intersection, and said flames could be seen coming from the vehicle.

Traffic was being diverted to the far edge of the roadway, but the highway had not been closed. The State Patrol and Fire District 3 were reportedly at the scene.
