Rep. Bailey to hold coffee talks

10th District lawmaker Rep. Barbara Bailey will host a coffee talk later this month in Freeland.

The informal gathering is one of six planned throughout the district.

Bailey, R-Oak Harbor, said she is looking forward to exchanging ideas with her constituents prior to the 30-day special legislative session that begins Nov. 28.

The Freeland coffee is 4 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17 at Timbuktu Java Bar, next to the Short Stop Texaco on Highway 525.

The other meetings are on Thursday, Nov. 17 at 8 a.m. at Angelo’s Café in Oak Harbor; 2 p.m. at Coupeville Coffee and Bistro (formerly Miriam’s); and on Friday, Nov. 18, at 9 a.m. at the Calico Cupboard Old Town Café and Bakery in Mount Vernon; 11 a.m. at Willow and Jim’s Country Café in Silvana; and 2 p.m. at the Scandia Coffeehouse and Eatery in Stanwood.
