South Whidbey port to adopt 2012 budget next week

The board of commissioners for the Port of South Whidbey will meet next week to adopt the port’s 2012 budget and establish its property tax levy for next year.

The board will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8 in the meeting room at the South Whidbey Parks and Recreation District building at 5475 Maxwelton Road.

A 30-minute workshop is planned before the business meeting starts at 7:30 p.m.
