Whidbey league to host legislative brunch

The League of Women Voters of Whidbey Island will hold its annual brunch with legislators Saturday, Jan. 7 at the Whidbey Golf and Country Club in Oak Harbor.

State Sen. Mary Margaret Haugen, Rep. Barbara Bailey and Rep. Norma Smith will join league members and community guests to share their views of the upcoming legislative session. The speakers will also take questions from the audience.

The brunch is from 9 to 11:30 a.m. The cost is $20, and reservations must be received by Dec. 30. Checks can be sent to LWVWI, PO Box 1933, Oak Harbor, WA 98277.
