Island County Planning Commission will pick new leader

The Island County Planning Commission will pick a new chair at its meeting later this month in Coupeville.

The commission is scheduled to meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24 in the commissioners' hearing room in the County Annex Building.

Commissioners will also continue their work on the Shoreline Master Program update, which will include a presentation on the Draft Shoreline Inventory and Characterization Report and discussion of preliminary shoreline environment designations.
